The Talkeetna Hideaway provides Summer and year round , Wall tent , Cabin and Room rentals , in beautiful Downtown Talkeetna Alaska. The majority of our guests in the past years , have been college students and other young people from all over the world who are employed by local businesses for the Summer, but we also provide housing for local Talkeetna residents as well.

The benefits of staying at The Talkeetna Hideaway are many, as we are located within walking distance of Downtown Talkeetna and during this past Summer, we have added a new facility to our camp grounds.

We have constructed a two story, 9 room Guest House, which is adapted to long term room rentals , as well as short term and overnight , Bed and Breakfast style accommodation. The new Guest House boasts a modern recreation and conversation area with cable, Dish Network TV and DVD and VCR equipment. Also we have a fully equipped kitchen and a coin operated laundry. An in house phone is also connected and for those with laptop computers, we have DSL wireless access.

All these facilities are available to our House Guests at reasonable , seasonably adjusted rates.

For those staying in our cabins and wall tents, we have a camp style kitchen decked out for cooking , a Bath House , which boasts clean showers and toilets and a recreation cabin to unwind in. The DSL wireless access for those with laptop computers is also available in this area.
